Hello to those who have ventured onto my website while it is “under construction”. I am an emerging artist trying to balance my work life and my art life and unfortunately for the past few years work life has won. I have been struggling to get myself to create again and I could list you all of the excuses and events that has lead me to this point, but it doesn’t matter. The time has past, and all I can do is move forward and put in the efforts in now. Its not going to be easy, I have been trying for the past few months now and still haven’t finished this website which is just the beginning of what I need to accomplish to reach my goals. When I started up again I initially expected my skills to still be there, that I would be able to create at the level that I was towards the end of my undergraduate degree; how naive was I! That level of skill only comes from hard work, dedication, constantly practising, sketching and researching, not only in the subjects that I want to discuss, however in other artists, articles, and issues as well. It takes a lot of self-discipline to get back to where I want to be, and I am willing to work hard to get there. So I thank you for your patience, and before you know it the website will be complete and some new pieces will be revealed in the future. It will be worth the wait, I promise you!
